LAST UPDATED 14 AUGUST 2026Two separate things are covered here: what the app does on your phone, and what this website stores when you join the iOS beta list.
The app
Every conversion runs on the device. There is no upload step and no server queue. You can put the phone in airplane mode and every tool still works.
- No account. There is nothing to sign up for. The app has never had a login screen.
- No analytics by default. Analytics are off until you switch them on. Three events, listed in Settings in plain words.
- History points at your files. It stores a reference, not a copy. Clearing it removes the list, never the documents.
- Filota Cloud is the one exception. It syncs the outputs you create after you switch it on. It is off until you turn it on, and it syncs outputs only — never your originals.
This website — the beta list
If you submit your email address on this site, we store:
- Your email address.
- The campaign parameters in the link you arrived on (
utm_source,utm_campaign,utm_content), so we can tell which post or advert brought you. - The country your request came from, and your browser's user-agent string.
- A one-way hash of your IP address, used to block automated signups. The address itself is never written down and the hash cannot be reversed into one.
- The time you signed up.
We send you one email when the next iOS beta build is ready. That is the entire purpose. We do not sell the list, rent it, or hand it to advertisers.
Who else sees it
- Cloudflare hosts this site and stores the beta list.
- MailerLite holds your address so we can send the beta email.
- Google Analytics and the TikTok Pixel measure how many people reach this page and how many join. They receive page events, not your email address.
None of these touch the app, and none of them ever see a file.
How long we keep it
Until the beta closes, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
Getting it removed
Email hello@filota.app and we delete your row. No account needed. Every email we send also carries an unsubscribe link.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to see what we hold, correct it, have it erased, and object to its use. Use the same address above. We answer within a day.
